Key Stage Results
We are very proud of the results that our children attain throughout their time at Laurance Haines School, which culminate in tremendous Year 6 SATs achievements. We invest a lot of time and effort through a fun, engaging and varied curriculum to ensure that all children achieve their best, preparing them for their future at secondary school and beyond.
At the end of Key Stage 2, statutory assessment tests (SATs) are administered. In the Foundation Stage, children complete a Reception Baseline Assessment when they start school, and we measure their progress against the Early Learning Goals, reporting on the Good Level of Development (GLD) at the end of Reception. While Key Stage 1 SATs are available, these are now optional and we do not formally report on them. In the classroom, teachers continually assess and monitor children's progress, keeping careful records of pupils' attainment. Our results can be found below. You will see that there are no results for 2020 due to Covid-19.
