Outdoor Learning

Outdoor learning

We carefully consider the best use of our outdoor learning spaces. Despite the limited outdoor space, we are resourceful and think creatively about how to utilise every inch of it. Our teachers use the outdoor spaces to further promote the physical and emotional development and wellbeing of our children. Similarly, our allotment and green house encourages children to grow their own food - some of which they cook and some of which is sold to fund new seeds for the following year.

We do not shy away from risk and actively encourage our children to experience more dangerous activities, such as fire building and tree climbing, in an environment that can support them to do as safely as possible.
