Take One Picture - Exhibition at The Watford Museum
.As part of a cross-Trust initiative, Mrs Goss has organised an exhibition of all the children's work at The Watford Museum, using the National Gallery’s Take One Picture scheme as a focus. The picture this year is called 'Men of the docks' by George Bellows. Each year the National Gallery encourages primary school teachers and children to focus on one painting from the collection and respond creatively to its themes and subject matter, historical context, or composition. This collaborative exhibition will showcase children’s responses to the 'Men of Docks' painting and will demonstrate how each year group in each of our three schools in The Inclusive Multi Academy Trust used the painting to inspire creative learning across the curriculum.
The exhibition will open at The Watford Museum on 7th March 2019 and will be open until the 27th April. It is FREE. The Museum is open Thursdays-Saturdays from 10am to 5pm.
