In design and technology, our children will build upon technical skills to enable them to create different, functional products. At Laurance Haines, we will ensure that by the time our children leave in Year 6, they have a firm understanding of the design processes of mechanisms, structures, food, textiles, electrical systems, and digital systems. Our children will explore how designers around the world have to consider the wonder and challenge, tools and materials they have to work with and how this can differ, depending on where they live.
